Work in Progress (WIP) Submission

Ongoing research projects can be presented at ISQED under the Work in Progress (WIP) category. This provides a unique opportunity to authors to receive early feedback on their current work. Authors of accepted WIP papers would be able to present their paper in a 4 minutes presentation plus 1 minute Q/A about their work at ISQED. Additionally, the WIP papers will be included in the ISQED program, and a best WIP paper award will be presented to a winner. Due to space limitations WIP papers do not need to prepare and display a poster at the event.

To be part of ISQED WIP poster session authors must submit a 100-word abstract and a one-page manuscript in PDF format, Submission should clearly describe a technical problem, outline a solution, and provide some results. To submit WIP paper please use the following site and make sure to select WIP track: https://softconf.com/n/isqed2025/  before the submission deadline shown below.

In addition to papers expressively submitted as WIP, papers that are deemed by committee members acceptable but yet not complete for full paper, will be assigned to this category. WIP designation of your paper gives you the opportunity for a brief oral presentation (4 minutes presentation plus 1 minute Q/A) as well poster display. Additionally you can submit a one page manuscript of your paper, which will be published by IEEE in the conference proceedings, and IEEE Xplore. The one page manuscript is required by the Camera Ready Paper Due Date. Submissions that are accepted to WIP are required to send one registered author to ISQED and present a poster in the WIP session.
